Terms of Service
Welcome to Settle. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Settle mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Settle, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. What Settle Does
Settle is a coordination tool that helps users create, share, and manage plans with other people.
Settle does not guarantee attendance, participation, accuracy of plan details, venue availability, or outcomes of any plan. Plans are created and managed by users, not by Settle.
2. User Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity that occurs under your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Settle.
3. User-Generated Content
Plans, messages, times, venues, and other content shared through Settle are user-generated.
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Settle a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service.
Settle is not responsible for user-generated content.
4. Invites and Shared Links
Settle may generate invite links or codes that allow others to join a plan.
You are responsible for how and with whom you share invite links. Settle is not responsible for unintended access resulting from shared links.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt to access accounts or data you do not own, or use Settle for unlawful or abusive purposes.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
6. Availability and Changes
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
7. No Liability for Plans or Outcomes
Settle is not responsible for missed plans, scheduling conflicts, disagreements between participants, financial loss, travel issues, or any consequences resulting from a plan.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Settle and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Privacy
Your use of Settle is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
